Cottingley Fairies are photographs taken in the 1917s by
Elsie Wright and Frances Griffiths. They were two cousins that lives near
Bradford in a place called Cottingley. This is also a good example of ‘The
Fake’ because when the photographs came out, people actually started believing
that they seen the fairies and have taken photographs with them. They were not
real but people did believe it for a while. There was also always people that
believed that the photographs were faked. I personally also think that the
photographs are faked and do not understand how actually people can believe
that they are real when you can clearly see that they are fake. But that is
just my personal opinion.
